NOTICE OF CANCELLATION OF THE 55TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION DINNER

On behalf of the Friends of the Fossil Beds Board, we are sorry to announce that we are cancelling the 55th Anniversary Celebration Dinner that was to be held on Saturday, August 24th at 5:30 PM at The Nature Place in Florissant, CO.  

We thank those of you who did register for the event.

The Friends’ Board will be hosting several activities that will be held on Saturday, August 24th during the day at the Fossil Beds. The Friends will have our Annual Membership Meeting in the afternoon.  Also, Dr. Jeremy Sueltenfuss will lead a tour and do a presentation about the wetlands project.  A flyer will come out soon regarding those events.  Please consider joining us for those day events which will celebrate the 55th Anniversary of the establishment of the Fossil Beds.

For those of you who have sent in the payment for the dinner reservation, Jan Beals, our treasurer, will request checks from our ENT checking account by Friday, August 5th (she is traveling at the moment).  She’ll inform you once the check is on its way.
