| Our very first in-person seminar will be held off-site at Corral Bluffs, which is 10 minutes East of Colorado Springs. We have set up two dates with Corral Bluffs Alliance to accommodate those who can only do weekends. We will hold one field trip on Wednesday, October 19th, and the second one on Saturday, October 22nd. This amazing experience will be a guided four-mile hike in quite a unique area. Participants should be prepared for a moderate to difficult hike over uneven terrain. The weather may still be hot in October. You will enjoy the geology, wildflowers, pronghorns, prairie birds, and deer. The hike leaders have spent much time getting to know this unique area to provide the participants with a wonderful experience. As stated above, participants must be prepared for a moderate to difficult four-mile hike over uneven terrain. Also, bring a minimum of 1 -2 liters of water and a snack. It still could be hot. Please don’t forget sturdy shoes, sunscreen, and a hat. Hikes are limited to participants aged 10 and older. All hikes meet at the Loaf and Jug at 6857 Space Village Ave, [at Peterson Road and Highways 24 and 94]. We will meet there at 9 AM on both days. Registration for the 19th must be done by Monday, October 17th, and for the 22nd by Thursday, October 20th. A donation of $5.00 per person is suggested. When you register, please give me your name, the number of people you are registering, and your contact info. I will respond to each registration by email and by phone if you wish more information. Additionally, please make sure that you fill out both of the release and liability forms at the links below (Form 1 and Form 2) and bring them with you on the day of the tour.
