ATTENTION All Friends!! And Friends of Friends!!

 Come celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Friends of the Florissant Fossil Beds at the Fossil Craft  Beer Company. It is located at: 2845 Ore Mill Rd. Unit 1 Colorado Springs (near the strip mall off Hwy 24 next to Rudy’s).

Presentation: “Vegetation, Climates and Landscapes through 77 million years, beginning at the time of the dinosaurs”. Our Monument intern, Alex Lowe is a Masters student from Brandon University in Manitoba, Canada. Alex will speak about his research experiences involving reconstructing ancient climates and environments using both fossil plants and the chemistry of ancient soils.

Fossil Craft Beer will donate $1 to the Friends for every beer sold that evening. Food is available from Gourmet Bite Me Sausages at their onsite food truck. There will be drawings for Friends gear swag bags from 6-8 pm.

The talk begins at 7 pm. Join the fun!
